How We Help

We take stock of the statement you give us. We compare it against the disclosure we get. We assess your chances and share our opinions with you. We review your driving abstract. We negotiate with the Crown, and if needed, we run a Trial. We also make all court appearances for you. Again talk to us, the first consultation is always free.

The Real Problem With Tickets

Demerits are attached to different tickets at different amounts. For example: disobeying a traffic control device has 2 demerits while careless driving has 6. A person with a class 5 licence will have their licence suspended when they reach 15 Demerit Points. A person with a GDL licence will be suspended when their licence reaches 8 demerit points.

Demerits stay on a person’s licence for 2 years, and the conviction stays on for 3 years. The conviction is what the Insurance Companies base their insurance charges on The cost of insurance as we understand, is determined by your driving abstract which shows your accumulated convictions. To many demerits will cause you to be suspended and then you may be required to appear before the Alberta Transportation Safety Board. Suspensions will come from accumulated demerit points. Further suspensions to a persons drivers licence may come from the Courts, Alberta Government, and the Alberta Transportation Safety Board.

After your drivers licence suspension is over and you have paid your reinstatement fee you will still have demerit points on your licence, 7 points for a class 5 licenced driver, 3 points if a GDL driver. We can help you by attending the Alberta Transportation Safety Board with you and speaking to help get your licence reinstated.

Did you know that convictions from other Provinces will transfer back to your Albert driving abstract. We can help you across Canada. In the case of GDL licence holders 2 suspensions will put you before the Alberta Transportation Safety Board, and for the class 5 driver, 3 suspensions in 2 years will get you a visit with the Alberta Transportation Safety Board.

Class 1 drivers are the same as class 5 drivers however the convictions transfer to the companies Profile which has an effect on the companies insurance rates and can cost a driver his job.
